Theology of the Body in a Podcast

Hi friends! I was on the road for a long time today, and thought it'd be a great opportunity to listen to some podcasts. I started listening to "The Catholic Feminist" by Claire Swinarski, and immediately connected to the messages she was conveying. She talks of pertinent and popular questions among our society today, and addresses them from a feminist perspective, providing inspiration for women who are simply striving to do what God asks of them!

I came across one particular podcast by Claire that featured Christopher West, a co-founder of the Theology of the Body Institute (you can access it in the link below!). Boy----was I blown away! I had heard some of the core ideas from JP II's Theology of the Body in the past, but had never been as awed as I was in the car today. In this episode, West describes the incredible relationship between man, woman, God, and the beauty of His creation; West explains that our bodies are more than just physical vessels---they exemplify God's love and plan for us in a way that no other aspect of creation could.

I strongly encourage everyone to take a listen---women, men, Catholics & non-Catholics---we ALL need to hear this! In a world where people are confused about the meaning of their lives and sexuality, we need to hear raw truth that reveals nothing but God's pure and perfect love for each individual and the blessing of the vessel He has given to us all.
